Petr Pavlinec

Petr Pavlinec was born on 9th of January 1974 in Uherské Hradiště and lives in Velká nad Veličkou. Pavlinec started his music career as the violin player in children folk music group "Veličánek" under Jaromír Miškeřík.
He begun to play the cimbalom in 1990 and then he has been studying for 6 years at Ĺudovít Daniel in Holíč. Pavlinec finished his studies at the conservatoire of P.J.Vejvanovský in Kroměříž (1999, class of Růžena Děcká) and graduated at Pedagogical faculty of Masaryk University in Brno ( 1997, music and mathematics). Nowadays, he is a teacher at the School of Arts in Velká nad Veličkou. Petr Pavlinec is a phenomenal person among cimbalom players in Moravia. He is a member of famous Martin Hrbáč traditional folk music group where they play typical songs from folk region Horňácko. Nevertheles, Pavlinec longs for virtuoso playing where he can show his real talent. This opportunity gave him Romanian melodies. Pavlinec included them into his repertoir and the way of his interpretation proves his proficiency. As an outstanding musician, Pavlinec took part in 9 interesting music events as: "Nepretvárená hudba", "Pěkné zkázaníčko" and others.
